Role Overview

Havelock One Interiors is seeking a Business Development Manager for a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is central to developing relationships with new clients and providing support to continually improve engagement with existing clients. The objective is to understand their future development strategies and aspirations, strategically portraying Havelock’s capabilities to partner in upcoming developmental projects. While the office is in Riyadh, the role requires flexibility and adaptability to work on projects across Saudi Arabia.

Core Responsibilities

The Business Development Manager will undertake the following responsibilities:

• Prospect for potential new clients and convert these opportunities into increased business.
• Develop marketing strategy and communications, conduct new market investigations, and oversee marketing and account strategy.
• Research and build relationships with new clients and identify new projects within selective sectors.
• Utilize internal and external tools to compile a project opportunity pipeline and establish a plan of action for each opportunity based on agreed targets with management.
• Plan and collaborate with the projects team to develop proposals that address client needs, concerns, and objectives.
• Set up meetings between client decision-makers and company Directors/Principals.
• Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements, and working through differences to achieve a positive conclusion.
• Employ a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately.
• Present an image that mirrors that of the client.

Client Engagement and Development

A key aspect of this role involves fostering strong client relationships:

• Building and enhancing relationships with new clients.
• Arranging and participating in internal and external client debriefs.
• Providing ongoing support to continually improve relationships with existing clients.

Market Strategy and Company Insight

The Business Development Manager will contribute to strategic growth through:

• Attending industry functions, such as association events and conferences.
• Providing feedback and information on market and creative trends.
• Developing a thorough understanding of the company’s people and capabilities.
• Understanding the company’s goals and purpose to continuously enhance its performance.

Required Qualifications
