CAD Draftsman Surveying

About the Role

Alqotr is seeking a CAD Draftsman Surveying to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves preparing technical drawings and plans from surveying works, converting field survey data into accurate digital drawings, and utilizing advanced software for modeling and documentation.

Role Objective

The primary objective of this position is to prepare technical drawings and plans derived from surveying works. This includes converting field survey data into precise digital drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D. The role also requires the ability to prepare models and drawings using Revit, specifically for internal building surveys and as-built documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare surveying drawings based on field survey works, including topographic, detailed, and building/structure surveys.
• Process and organize survey data, converting it into accurate technical drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Prepare project drawings and plans according to project requirements, such as survey plans, topographic plans, contour plans, profiles, and sections.
• Prepare and update As-Built drawings and execution drawings based on survey results.
• Produce drawings related to internal building surveys, covering elements like walls, openings, doors, windows, columns, levels, elevations, rooms, and existing architectural features.
• Convert internal survey data into As-Built BIM models using Revit, as required.
• Review drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with field survey data and project specifications.
• Organize and maintain drawing files and survey data in accordance with established project standards and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in CAD drafting for surveying projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare models and drawings using Revit, particularly for internal building survey and as-built documentation.
• Strong understanding of surveying principles and data conversion processes.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working within a professional team dedicated to delivering precise technical drawings and plans for various surveying projects.
