MEP CAD Draftsman

About the Role

THURAYAA Construction & Business Solutions is seeking an MEP CAD Draftsman (Electrical & Mechanical) to join its technical office team. This full-time position is based at the company's headquarters in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and involves preparing and updating MEP Shop Drawings and As-Built Drawings.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and update MEP Shop Drawings and As-Built Drawings using AutoCAD.
• Implement modifications based on RIW / ITR / Redline Drawings.
• Update engineering drawings according to comments from technical office engineers and consultants.
• Adhere to project standards and technical office requirements.
• Coordinate continuously with technical office engineers to ensure quality and timely completion of work.
• Review drawings prior to submission to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Implement all necessary modifications until final drawing approval.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in MEP CAD Drafting.
• Practical experience in preparing and updating Shop Drawings and As-Built Drawings.
• Professional proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience in handling RIW / ITR / Redline Drawings.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and accurately implement comments.
• Commitment to quality execution and achieving targets within established timelines.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and under pressure.

Preferred Skills and Knowledge

• Previous experience in projects within Saudi Arabia or Gulf countries.
• Experience with Mega Projects.
• Good knowledge of the following systems:
  • Electrical
  • HVAC
  • Plumbing
  • Fire Fighting
  • ELV
