About Soum and the Car Inspector Role

We are currently seeking a Car Inspector to join our full-time team in Riyadh.

Role Overview

The Car Inspector plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity and accuracy of vehicle information throughout the car journey on our platform. This position involves conducting comprehensive inspections and providing essential operational support to the Cars Operations team. The objective is to ensure a seamless and trustworthy experience for all users engaging with our automotive marketplace.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial inspections of vehicles, assessing the body, exterior, interior, and overall condition.
• Perform final inspections before vehicle handover or the completion of a transaction.
• Identify and accurately report any damages, existing issues, or discrepancies found during inspections.
• Ensure that all vehicle conditions are meticulously documented.
• Coordinate effectively with the Operations team throughout the entire car journey process.
• Provide support for other Cars Operations tasks as and when required.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in car inspection.
• Ability to thoroughly inspect vehicle body, exterior, interior, and general condition.
• Good foundational automotive knowledge.
• Strong attention to detail and proven ability to accurately identify vehicle issues.
• Flexibility and willingness to support a variety of operational tasks.

Work Type and Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role is integral to the Cars Operations team, contributing directly to Soum's mission within the re-commerce sector.
