About the Corporate Accountant Role at Almarai

Almarai is seeking a Corporate Accountant to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience and plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting within the company.

Role Purpose and Scope

The Corporate Accountant is responsible for preparing comprehensive financial statements that meet both internal and external reporting requirements. This role demands a high standard of accuracy and strict adherence to Almarai's established policies, procedures, and accounting standards, as well as those set by the Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants (SOCPA).

Key Responsibilities

Prepare Group and Division-wise profit and loss accounts in accordance with Almarai's standard format, ensuring consistency between divisional results and Group PRO.
Analyze Balance Sheet components, conducting comparisons with previous periods and prior years, and gather supporting documentation for significant reported deviations.
Prepare consolidated financial statements following the format approved by the Quality & Development department.
Generate extracts of the Trial Balance for each component included in the financial statements.

Required Experience and Standards

Candidates for this role should possess 2-5 years of experience in accounting, with a strong understanding of financial reporting. The position requires a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity and strict adherence to Almarai's internal policies and procedures, as well as recognized accounting standards and those mandated by the Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants (SOCPA).

Work Setting

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Accountant will operate within Almarai's corporate finance function, contributing to the company's robust financial operations.
