Catering Manager

About the Role

Zahid Tractor & Heavy Machinery Co. Ltd. is seeking a Catering Manager to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires a professional with over 10 years of experience in the catering sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving annual sales targets and contributing to the development and productivity of the Catering Department.

Role Overview

The Catering Manager will focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential customers across all catering sectors. This role involves close collaboration with the Catering Team to enhance overall departmental performance and achieve strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure monthly sales targets are established and communicated to the Catering Team to meet the yearly budget.
• Conduct customer visits and engage with event management companies to promote HVC services.
• Develop new menu items in coordination with the Head Chef and Director of Operations.
• Review and compare menu prices against food costs to ensure profitability.
• Follow up on long-term contracts with customers, collaborating with the Catering Supervisor and Director of Operations.
• Approve quotations and contracts before sharing them with clients for their approval, and subsequently follow up.
• Organize and conduct food tastings for customers as needed.
• Periodically review competitors' activities and implement appropriate actions.
• Guide the Catering Supervisor in creating and implementing new business ideas related to displays, presentations, and best practices.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant catering management role.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and manage customer relationships effectively.
• Strong understanding of catering operations, menu development, and cost control.
• Experience in contract negotiation and client communication.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, requiring active engagement with customers and internal teams to drive the growth and efficiency of the Catering Department.
