About the Role

Whale Cloud is seeking a CCTV Cloud Technical Support Engineer to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position is designed for fresh graduates with 0-1 years of experience, offering comprehensive training. The core work involves on-site inspection, fault troubleshooting, system commissioning, and providing technical services to clients for CCTV and video cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate with customers to confirm functional requirements, detail demands, and clarify acceptance standards. Translate customer needs into executable technical schemes and coordinate with internal R&D and implementation teams.
  • Execute deployment, commissioning, and go-live processes for new projects, including IP planning, recording configuration, access permission setup, cloud device registration, storage tuning, and platform parameter optimization. Support clients with project acceptance and trial operations.
  • Troubleshoot faults related to CCTV cameras, NVR, video management platforms, video cloud platforms, and security networks through remote access or on-site visits. Resolve intermediate issues escalated from L1 support and ensure work order closure.
  • Deliver technical training and after-sales consultation to client staff, covering live view, playback, account management, and basic self-inspection of failures.
  • Complete maintenance tickets, inspection reports, and fault logs. Organize equipment inventory, network topology, and standard operation procedures. Document typical cases and FAQs for the internal knowledge base.
  • Coordinate internally with R&D and procurement teams to report product bugs and hardware defects. Communicate progress and system operation status with client contacts. Collaborate with manufacturer engineers to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Conduct regular on-site equipment inspections, online rate checks, and storage space cleanup. Provide emergency standby service for major events and holidays. Implement equipment replacement, system upgrades, and patch deployment.

Educational Background

  • College diploma or above, with a major in Computer Science, Network Engineering, Telecommunication, Electronic Information, Weak Current Engineering, or Automation.

Technical Knowledge and Experience

  • Solid basic knowledge of TCP/IP protocol, IP addressing, LAN, and switches. Proficient in Windows operation. Familiarity with basic Linux commands is an advantage.
  • Preferred experience includes hands-on practice with Hikvision, Dahua, Uniview cameras, NVR, and POE switches, as well as campus lab maintenance or personal server deployment experience.

  • Clear logical thinking with strong problem-solving ability and hands-on skills. Possesses patient communication, good service awareness, and a careful and responsible working attitude.
  • Ability to work on-site at project locations, undertake short business trips, and participate in shift-based emergency on-call.
