Role Overview: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) HFS Research MENA

ICG is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for HFS Research MENA. This full-time role involves establishing and leading HFS Research MENA's operations across Saudi Arabia and the wider MENA region. The CEO will be responsible for developing the commercial strategy, securing initial clients, activating international research capabilities, and building a scalable advisory business. This position requires a leader capable of converting global research expertise and market opportunities into a sustainable regional advisory and research business, with over 10 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the establishment, launch, and operationalization of HFS Research MENA, including developing the business establishment plan, regional operating model, and market-entry strategy.
• Coordinate corporate registration, licensing, operational processes, and regulatory requirements with ICG.
• Define target industries, commercial priorities, service positioning, and growth objectives, developing a multi-year business plan for Saudi Arabia, GCC, and selected MENA markets.
• Lead commercial activities to secure the company's first enterprise clients and advisory engagements, building a qualified pipeline across public-sector entities, major corporations, technology providers, and strategic institutions.
• Develop revenue through enterprise research subscriptions, technology advisory engagements, strategic consulting, and market intelligence solutions, identifying and closing multi-year agreements.
• Position HFS Research MENA as a regional provider of technology research and strategic intelligence, commercializing research capabilities across AI, digital transformation, enterprise technology, and emerging industry trends.
• Establish relationships with CEOs, CIOs, CTOs, and senior government executives, developing strategic accounts across key sectors.
• Activate cooperation with the international HFS Research ecosystem and establish commercial relationships with consulting firms, technology vendors, and regional industry associations.
• Assume responsibility for commercial growth, profitability, budgets, and P&L, developing annual operating plans and financial performance targets.

Qualifications and Experience

• Over 10 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Demonstrated experience in consulting business development and selling high-value research and advisory services.
• Strong executive relationships within the MENA region.
• Proven ability to establish a new business, secure initial contracts, and build an effective regional organization.
• Experience in managing commercial and financial performance, including P&L responsibility.
