About the Role

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a highly skilled Commercial/ Claims Manager to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position is central to overseeing all contractual and commercial aspects of significant road and infrastructure projects, ensuring their successful delivery.

Role Overview

The Commercial/ Claims Manager will be responsible for the comprehensive management and administration of contracts. This includes ensuring strict compliance with all legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations, as well as proactively handling claims and variations. The role provides critical commercial advice and support to project teams, contributing directly to project execution within established timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and administer contracts throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review, negotiate, and finalize contract terms with clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Ensure full compliance with legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations.
• Monitor project budgets, costs, and overall financial performance.
• Prepare and review claims, variations, and change orders.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop effective mitigation strategies.
• Provide expert commercial advice and support to project teams.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of contracts, payments, and correspondence.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to resolve disputes efficiently.
• Prepare detailed reports on commercial performance and contractual issues for senior management.
• Ensure timely invoicing, payment collection, and accurate financial reporting.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 5-10 years of experience in a relevant commercial or claims management role. Demonstrated experience within road and infrastructure projects is essential.
