About the Role

Arla Foods is seeking a Communications Specialist to manage and execute internal and external communications in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves working closely with the Head of Corporate Affairs, Sustainability & Communications and various cross-functional teams to develop content, manage communication channels, and coordinate campaigns and events. The specialist will be responsible for bringing business, people, and corporate stories to life for diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and coordinate internal communications, including business announcements, leadership messages, newsletters, employee stories, organizational updates, and event communications.
Manage and maintain internal communication channels such as email, digital screens, and other employee platforms.
Maintain the communications calendar, coordinating content planning, approvals, timelines, and stakeholder input.
Support the planning and execution of town halls, leadership visits, and corporate events.
Manage Arla Foods KSA’s LinkedIn content calendar, including identifying stories, developing content, and coordinating approvals.
Develop external corporate content to strengthen Arla’s visibility and reputation in Saudi Arabia.
Identify and develop stories showcasing people, culture, brands, local contributions, and business impact.
Localize regional and global communication campaigns and initiatives for the Saudi market.
Draft and coordinate communications in both Arabic and English, ensuring quality, consistency, and relevance.
Support communications for business changes, urgent situations, and crisis management as required.
Collaborate with HR, Marketing, Commercial, and other functions to identify communication opportunities and ensure coordinated messaging.
Work with external vendors for communication materials, content, and events.
Track communication performance and engagement, using insights for continuous improvement of content and channels.
Support Corporate Affairs and Sustainability projects and initiatives when needed.
Take ownership of assigned communication activities from planning through execution, ensuring quality and timely delivery.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be proactive, curious, and hands-on, demonstrating a strong sense of ownership and a genuine interest in communications. This role requires the ability to translate briefs into actionable plans, manage priorities independently, and ensure timely delivery. Good judgment, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset are essential for effective stakeholder engagement across the business.

Experience and Qualifications

2-5 years of experience in a relevant communications role.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute communication strategies.
Proficiency in drafting and coordinating communications in both Arabic and English.
