About the Programme Manager Role

Talent Blueprint FZ LLC is seeking an experienced Programme Manager to oversee the conference programme for a major international event in Saudi Arabia. This senior-level freelance/fixed-term contract position requires a professional with a proven track record in managing large-scale, high-profile events. The role involves leading the entire content lifecycle of the conference, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for all delegates.

Core Responsibilities

The Programme Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end planning and execution of the conference programme. Key duties include:

• Developing strategic agendas aligned with event objectives and stakeholder priorities.
• Identifying, securing, and managing high-profile speakers, moderators, and panellists.
• Overseeing speaker communications, briefing materials, and presentation timelines.
• Coordinating the review, editing, and quality assurance of presentation content.
• Managing diverse session formats, including keynotes, panels, workshops, and roundtables.
• Creating detailed running orders, stage scripts, and show flows.
• Collaborating with production, AV, protocol, and operations teams for smooth session delivery.
• Providing on-stage management during live sessions to ensure adherence to schedule.
• Effectively managing programme changes and last-minute updates in a dynamic environment.
• Cultivating and maintaining relationships with government stakeholders, partners, sponsors, and speakers.
• Ensuring all programme deliverables meet agreed timelines and quality standards.
• Producing post-event reports and recommendations as required.

Required Experience and Qualifications

Candidates should possess the following qualifications and experience:

• 5-10 years of experience in delivering conference programmes for large-scale international events.
• Demonstrated experience managing high-profile conferences, executive summits, government forums, or global business events.
• A strong background in agenda development and conference content strategy.
• Experience managing senior executives, ministers, VIPs, and keynote speakers.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proficiency in reviewing presentations and coordinating speaker content.
• A solid understanding of live event operations, stage management, and production coordination.
• The ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines concurrently.
• Exceptional organizational, planning, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience working on government or major international events within the GCC is highly preferred.
• A Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred.

Preferred Event Experience

Candidates with experience in the following types of events will be highly regarded:

• International government conferences
• Economic forums
• Global leadership summits
• Trade and investment conferences
• Major sporting event conferences
• World Expos
• Events such as COP, G20, FIFA, Olympic, or AFC.
