Container Logistics Senior Executive

About the Role

Pacific International Lines (PIL) is seeking a Container Logistics Senior Executive to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on managing container logistics costs, KPI reporting, intermodal business development, and land procurement. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, monitor, drive, and report region-level and agency-level KPI, cost, and performance.
• Manage intermodal network and business development, including reviewing, creating, and optimizing the network to improve intermodal performance.
• Monitor intermodal performance, develop market intelligence, identify opportunities, and promote services to POL/POD.
• Collaborate with agencies and HQ intermodal to propose intermodal selling rates, set up and maintain rates, product catalogue, and LMS maintenance.
• Procure land side services based on the agreed model with HQ, ensuring compliance with established policies and governance.
• Manage the regional contract landscape with HQ, including monitoring contract expiry, proposing category strategy, planning, and risk management.
• Set and monitor formal performance KPI, flow-share, SLA, and supplier assessment.
• Oversee supplier onboarding, including setting up agreements, EDI, and LMS tariff.
• Drive digitalization initiatives such as container reuse/triangulation, charging customers, and reuse platforms.

Leadership and Collaboration

• Provide leadership and direction to agency Logistics teams.
• Manage and collaborate with stakeholders, including HQ, RO, and Agencies from Operations and Commercial Trades, to make business decisions in the company's best interest.
