About the Role

Sheraton Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Cook to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, contributing to the culinary experience for guests. The role requires attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards in food preparation.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare fresh ingredients and cook them according to established recipes or menus.
Cook food and prepare high-quality dishes within specified deadlines.
Test dishes to verify proper preparation and temperature.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly.
Ensure the hygiene and cleanliness of all surfaces and storage containers in the kitchen area.

Required Qualifications and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 1 year of related work experience in a kitchen environment.
No supervisory experience is required for this role.
No specific license or certification is required, though a safety certificate will be obtained through company training.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

This position requires the ability to lift and move items weighing up to 25 lb (11 kg). Candidates must be able to stand, sit, or walk for prolonged periods and maintain a professional appearance in a clean uniform. Prior to commencing the role, successful candidates will complete mandatory training and obtain a safety certificate.
