We are seeking a Customer Solution Engineer Project - MP Order to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is open to candidates with 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Role Purpose and Scope

The Customer Solution Engineer Project - MP Order is responsible for providing technical expertise to identify the most suitable KONE products for specific customer requirements. This involves interpreting customer specifications and aligning them with KONE’s diverse solutions, which include escalators, auto walks, machine-room-less elevators, high-rise systems, and third-party equipment. A key aspect of this role is also supporting the development of non-standard solutions and contributing to the tendering process to ensure all technical specifications are met by KONE’s product offerings.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise to match KONE products with customer needs.
• Interpret customer specifications and align them with KONE’s product portfolio, including escalators, auto walks, and various elevator systems.
• Support the development of non-standard solutions and assist in the tendering process.
• Attend regular customer meetings, project follow-up meetings, and site coordination meetings.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact between the customer and KONE, in collaboration with the Project Manager.

Internal Collaboration and Support

• Collaborate with the Sales team to identify optimal KONE products for non-standard and major project cases, and select appropriate product platforms for offers.
• Work with the Supply Line to place factory orders, ensuring correct documentation and adherence to procedures.
• Monitor manufacturing progress and coordinate material delivery dates with operations.
• Participate in information-sharing sessions for new product and service releases.
• Deliver technical training to Sales, Installation, and Maintenance teams as required.
• Provide feedback to product offering management regarding customization, standardization, and interface requirements for the product portfolio.

Required Skills and Experience

• 2-5 years of professional experience in a related field.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer handling skills.
• Understanding of various building types and customer segments.
• Good knowledge of environmental and sustainability requirements and norms.
• Proficiency in CAD, with optional BIM skills.
• Basic knowledge of competitors’ products.
• Good understanding of product total costing, local norms, and regulations.
