About the Cybersecurity Internship at Help AG

Help AG is offering a 6-month Cybersecurity Internship opportunity in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This internship is designed for individuals seeking to gain practical experience in the cybersecurity field by working alongside experienced professionals on real-world projects. The role involves contributing to various aspects of cybersecurity operations within a leading cybersecurity company.

Internship Focus Areas

The internship is structured to provide exposure to several key cybersecurity domains. Interns will be assigned to teams focusing on Cyber Defence (SOC), Offensive Cybersecurity, Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC), and Cyber Engineering. Each area offers specific learning objectives and hands-on activities.

Cyber Defence (SOC) Responsibilities

• Support the Cyber Defence, Managed Security Services team as an Associate Security Analyst intern.
• Assist in monitoring security incidents and events.
• Gain knowledge in incident handling and threat intelligence.
• Engage with commercial SOC products, including SIEM, EDR, NDR, and TIP.
• Participate in lab-based training sessions.

Offensive Cybersecurity Responsibilities

• Join the Security Analysis team as an Associate Offensive Cybersecurity intern.
• Develop an understanding of the attack lifecycle.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests.
• Gain exposure to web, mobile, network, and physical penetration testing.

Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Responsibilities

• Work with the Cyber Trust Advisory team as an Associate GRC Consultant intern.
• Assist in developing and refining GRC documents.
• Participate in customer meetings alongside consultants.
• Engage with local regulations and standards.

Cyber Engineering Responsibilities

• Join the Integration and Support team as an Associate Integration intern.
• Assist in designing, configuring, and implementing cybersecurity commercial solutions and products.
• Support the deployment and configuration of network security solutions, such as firewalls and proxies.
• Contribute to the deployment and configuration of SOC solutions, including SIEM, VA, and EDR.

Qualifications and Skills

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• A strong interest in cybersecurity and a foundational understanding of network and security principles.
• Familiarity with common cybersecurity tools and technologies is considered an advantage.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• A proactive attitude and a desire to learn and contribute in a fast-paced environment.
