Data Quality Engineer

About the Role

Starways is seeking a Data Quality Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves working on a government digital project within the real estate sector, which relies heavily on data and artificial intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop mechanisms for data quality verification.
• Perform data cleaning, error detection, and identify duplicate data.
• Improve the accuracy of data used in models and on the platform.
• Prepare regular reports on data quality and sources of errors.
• Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists.
• Document data quality policies.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Native Arabic speaker.
• Residency within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (valid national ID or Iqama required).
• Proven experience in government projects.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in data quality assurance.
• Experience with data validation frameworks and cleaning tools.
• Knowledge of DAMA methodologies or Data Quality Assessment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Work Environment

This role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and requires on-site attendance.

Experience Required

Candidates should have 2-5 years of relevant experience, with a minimum of 4 years specifically in data quality assurance.
