The Role of Director of Digital Channels and Product Development

Riyadh University of Arts is seeking a Director of Digital Channels and Product Development to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires over 10 years of experience and involves leading the strategic and operational development of digital channels and products within the university. The Director will ensure alignment with the broader D&T strategy and contribute to the institution's goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of D&T’s strategy and business plan, providing input from a Digital Channels & Product Development perspective.
• Develop and implement the operational plan for Digital Channels & Product Development in line with D&T’s business plan.
• Discuss budgeting requirements with top management and provide input to D&T’s overall budgeting process.
• Ensure effective utilization of the Digital Channels & Product Development budget and report on progress and challenges.
• Investigate and propose initiatives that result in positive financial impact and mitigate financial and operational risks.
• Lead the design and implementation of policies and procedures for Digital Channels & Product Development, ensuring compliance and high impact.
• Stay updated on leading practices and trends, identifying recommendations for improvements.
• Monitor day-to-day activities to ensure compliance with stipulated policies and procedures.
• Periodically review policies, processes, guidelines, and procedures to ensure alignment with RUA's requirements and evolving market trends.
• Participate in the identification and recruitment of key talent.
• Guide, mentor, and support direct reports in executing duties according to set policies and processes.
• Develop individual performance objectives, provide support, evaluate team performance, and offer regular feedback.
• Establish a high-performance working environment and promote RUA's values.
• Lead and guide project management teams in planning and organizing functional or organizational projects.
• Manage and control projects to ensure completion within guidelines, including cost, budget, timelines, scope, and quality, while maintaining RUA's standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. RUA serves as a center of creativity, knowledge, and innovation, contributing to the cultural ecosystem and creative economy of Saudi Arabia in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030.
