About the Role

ALKAFFARY GROUP is seeking an experienced E-Commerce Manager to lead its online sales strategy and drive the growth of its e-commerce platform. Based in Riyadh, Riyadh Province, this is a full-time position focused on enhancing customer experience and increasing online sales. The role involves developing and executing comprehensive e-commerce strategies and managing product selection.

Role Overview and Objectives

The E-Commerce Manager will collaborate closely with marketing, logistics, and IT teams to optimize the e-commerce website and successfully implement promotional campaigns. A key objective is to establish systems, standards, and best practices for new product listings, content creation, distribution, and maintenance. This position also involves providing support across various digital marketing areas and identifying best practices for SEO related to inventory, pre-orders, and pricing strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive e-commerce strategies to enhance customer experience and increase online sales.
  • Manage product selection, uploads, category building, and product detail updates.
  • Plan and implement promotional campaigns and coordinate daily e-commerce marketplace activities.
  • Track product sales changes using web analytics tools (*, Google Analytics) and Excel for organized reporting.
  • Oversee key operational tasks including stock management, category updates, and handling product returns.
  • Collaborate with merchandising, operations, customer service, marketing, logistics, and IT teams to enhance efficiencies and customer experience.
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for development projects and conduct regular site checks for accuracy.
  • Prepare reports on e-commerce trade performance, including KPIs, data-driven insights, and in-depth analysis of shopping behaviors and trends.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of the website to enhance user experience and site performance.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a retail-focused organization, with at least 3 years in digital or e-commerce roles.
  • Hands-on experience with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Zid, and Salla, covering product management, promotions, and store optimization, preferably within a company operating both offline retail and online sales channels.
  • Proficiency in using analytical tools like GA4, Clarity, or Hotjar to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Experience managing cross-functional workflows using task/project management tools such as ClickUp, Asana, or Notion.
  • Proven ability to manage order fulfillment, returns, and inventory tracking, ensuring smooth operational execution.
  • Solid understanding of payment workflows (*, Tamara, Tabby, Mada, COD) and collaboration with finance and accounting teams for reconciliation.

Essential Skills and Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of e-commerce user experience (UX), content development projects, and user interaction across digital platforms.
  • Excellent data analysis skills, with the ability to define and track commercial objectives, sales targets, and conversion funnels.
  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with web design basics, coupled with a keen eye for detail and consistency.
  • Strong digital background with hands-on experience in performance marketing, online sales optimization, and digital product positioning.
