Early Career Training ship Sales Specialist

About the Role

GE Vernova is seeking an Early Career Sales Specialist Trainee for a 12-month internship program in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This entry-level position is designed for an engineering graduate to join the Gas Insulated Substations (GIS) Sales team. The trainee will support the regional sales team in driving growth across transmission and industry segments within the Middle East and Africa (MEA) Region, specifically focusing on KSA.

Role Overview

The Early Career Sales Specialist Trainee will contribute to the Gas Insulated Substations (GIS) order intake, margin, and cash for KSA. The role involves mentorship to develop commercial strategy, customer relationship skills, and technical expertise, with the objective of preparing the trainee to manage their own portfolio of opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in early-stage project detection and monitor the Front End Engineering Design (FEED) stage of potential projects.
• Support the senior sales team in preparing quotations, organizing tender documentation, and tracking progress.
• Help build value propositions and assist in the compilation of product qualification/homologation documents and techno-commercial offers under the guidance of the Product Line (PL) tendering team.
• Accompany senior team members to customer meetings to learn customer intimacy, relationship building, and contract clarification.
• Conduct basic market assessment tasks and competitor analysis to support the definition of Commercial Action Plans.
• Assist in the hand-over process between Sales and Project Execution teams to ensure seamless project transition.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 year of experience required.
• High-potential engineering graduate.
