The Electrical Engineer Role

The Electrical Engineer is responsible for ensuring the proper installation, efficient operation, and ongoing maintenance of various electrical systems. The role requires a strong focus on compliance with local building codes, conducting thorough inspections, and adeptly troubleshooting electrical issues while collaborating with multidisciplinary project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and contractors to seamlessly integrate electrical systems into project designs.
• Conduct detailed inspections to verify strict adherence to local building codes, project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.
• Oversee the proper handling, storage, and installation of all electrical components on site.
• Identify and effectively resolve electrical system defects, providing clear recommendations for corrective actions.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of all inspections, test results, and overall project progress.
• Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems.

• Review and approve electrical materials and equipment prior to site installation.

Experience Requirements
