The Role of Electrical Inspector

Proger *** is seeking an Electrical Inspector for a full-time position in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role involves supervising and monitoring electrical works on site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. The Electrical Inspector will be a key part of the site team, contributing to the successful execution of electrical installations within project scopes.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the execution of electrical works on site according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Monitor electrical installations, wiring, panels, lighting systems, low-current systems, and other electrical works as defined by the project scope.
• Inspect executed work to ensure compliance with technical and quality requirements.
• Support the inspection, testing, and handover processes at various project stages.
• Coordinate with contractors and site teams to resolve technical comments and site issues.
• Ensure that all site activities adhere to safety and quality requirements.
• Prepare daily or periodic reports on work progress and site observations.
• Report any deviations from drawings or specifications to the relevant team members.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, including practical experience in Saudi Arabia and the private sector.
• Demonstrated experience in supervising electrical installations.
• Experience in inspecting and accepting completed electrical works, verifying compliance with approved drawings.
• Availability to work full-time on site.
• Saudi nationals are preferred for this position.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of quality and safety requirements on construction sites.
• Ability to prepare clear and concise site reports.
• Good communication and coordination skills for effective interaction with contractors and project teams.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires a commitment to working directly at project locations, ensuring continuous oversight and coordination of electrical works.
