The Role: Electrical Inspector in Riyadh

Dar is seeking a Full-time Electrical Inspector to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role involves supervising and reviewing all electrical works across infrastructure projects, ensuring strict adherence to approved designs, specifications, and applicable standards. The Electrical Inspector will be responsible for reviewing electrical design and shop drawings, monitoring site implementation, and overseeing quality control to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and provide feedback on electrical design drawings, shop drawings, and material submittals.
• Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, earthing, and LV systems.
• Monitor site execution to ensure adherence to approved construction methodologies and safety standards.
• Conduct inspections, witness testing, and verify contractor compliance with project specifications.
• Review technical correspondences, RFIs, and submittals, providing timely professional input.
• Identify and resolve technical challenges in coordination with design and construction teams.
• Ensure that all electrical works meet required standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience of 5-10 years in reviewing electrical designs and shop drawings.
• Demonstrated experience working specifically on roads, bridges, and tunnels projects.
