About the Role

AECOM is seeking an experienced Engineer/Architect – Interior Design Finishes to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves developing, specifying, and implementing high-quality interior design finishes for commercial and residential projects. The successful candidate will collaborate with architects, designers, and contractors to ensure all finish specifications meet design intent, building codes, and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive interior finish specifications, including materials, colors, textures, and installation methods.
Create detailed technical drawings and documentation using CAD and design software.
Conduct material research and analysis to recommend appropriate finishes based on project requirements, durability, and aesthetic goals.
Coordinate with design teams, contractors, and material suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
Prepare and manage finish schedules, material samples, and specification documents.
Conduct site inspections and quality assurance reviews to verify that installed finishes meet specifications and standards.
Ensure all finish selections comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability standards applicable to Saudi Arabia.
Collaborate with project teams to troubleshoot design challenges and implement effective solutions.
Maintain organized documentation and project files for all finish-related specifications and approvals.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding finish options, timelines, and project updates.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of experience in interior design finishes. The role requires a combination of technical expertise and creative problem-solving abilities to deliver results on projects.
