About the Role

Publicis Groupe is seeking an experienced English Copywriter for a full-time position in Riyadh. This role is for a hands-on copywriter with natural storytelling ability and experience in an agency environment, creating conceptually driven campaigns and crafting copy in English for global brands. The ideal candidate will develop creative ideas that meet both client and business objectives, maintaining high standards of creative excellence and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Writing and editing various texts, including copy and product descriptions, ensuring content consistency.
• Collaborating with art personnel to develop creative concepts for marketing materials and campaigns.
• Demonstrating a strong understanding of the 1:1 marketing space and the strategic use of data intelligence for communication challenges.
• Making conceptual and strategic decisions across diverse clients and industries.
• Interpreting brand tone of voice and language, crafting succinct and effective copy, and formatting copy decks.
• Developing and executing strategically sound creative for cross-channel initiatives.
• Presenting ideas persuasively to internal teams and clients.
• Actively listening to understand project requirements, client feedback, and internal input.
• Ensuring communications meet high standards of accuracy and quality control.
• Delivering fresh ideas while working within existing brand voice and tone.
• Conceptualizing and writing content for various platforms, including white papers, scripts, signage, and social media.
• Researching competitors and industry trends to provide creative foresight.
• Partnering with creatives to ensure copy and design form a cohesive story.
• Contributing actionable and thought-provoking ideas in collaboration with creative leaders.
• Managing multiple projects, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.
• Investigating industry best practices and new possibilities.
• Participating in opportunity briefs to consistently expand creative abilities.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in concept creation, with a clear understanding of communication concepts versus exceptional ideas.
• Proficiency in developing English copy for large cross-channel and/or direct-marketing initiatives across various media, both online and offline.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field of study.
• Fluency in spoken Arabic.
• Strong conceptualization and strategic thinking skills.
• Exceptional conceptual and design skills, supported by a robust portfolio showcasing talent across mediums.
• A knack for strategic brainstorming, campaign development, creative brief development, and creative execution.
• The ability to develop client relationships and lead creative presentations.
• Energy, a sense of humor, and an open, curious mindset.
