About SFCL and the Role

SFCL | شركة المرافق المختصة is a national company based in Riyadh, specializing in Integrated Facilities Management Services, Specialized Services Management, and Property Management. We are seeking a Facilities Engineer to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time role is central to supervising and coordinating maintenance and technical operations within projects, ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficient operation of facilities, systems, and equipment.

Core Purpose of the Position

The Facilities Engineer ensures that all preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance activities are completed in accordance with established technical standards, contract requirements, and company policies. This role is critical in supporting client satisfaction and promoting cost efficiency across all managed facilities.

Maintenance and Technical Operations

• Supervise daily maintenance activities and allocate tasks based on priority.
• Plan and monitor preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance schedules.
• Follow up on and close work orders, breakdowns, and service requests within specified timeframes.
• Monitor critical systems including MEP, HVAC, fire protection, pumps, and elevators.
• Analyze recurring breakdowns and recommend proactive preventive actions.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with technical specifications and manufacturer requirements.

Team, Asset, and Resource Management

• Supervise and assign tasks to the Maintenance Team, including preparing work schedules and shifts.
• Monitor team attendance, productivity, and performance, conducting training and evaluations.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment, assets, and technical systems.
• Ensure the availability of spare parts, tools, and materials.
• Coordinate with Stores and Procurement for necessary materials and monitor consumption and inventory levels.
• Ensure maintenance workshops and storage areas are organized and safe.

Quality, Safety, and Client Engagement

• Ensure maintenance works meet quality and technical standards through regular inspections.
• Ensure safe conditions in electrical, mechanical, and technical areas, reporting hazards and incidents.
• Implement HSE procedures and participate in emergency and business continuity plans.
• Respond professionally to client maintenance requests and complaints, ensuring timely resolution.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager, client, contractors, suppliers, and other departments.
• Monitor energy and water consumption, supporting sustainability initiatives and recommending cost-saving measures.

Reporting and General Requirements

• Prepare and maintain comprehensive reports including preventive/corrective maintenance, breakdowns, equipment condition, and team performance.
• Ensure all maintenance, asset, and equipment records are accurate and up to date.
• Ensure maintenance teams are prepared to respond to emergencies and critical breakdowns.
• Coordinate specialized technical support when required.
• Maintain effective teamwork and professional communication.
• Participate in technical training and continuous professional development.
• Candidates should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience.
