Facilities Engineer

About the Role

MOBCO Group is seeking a Facilities Engineer with a strong background in mechanical engineering and extensive experience in facility management operations. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and involves overseeing the operation, maintenance, and performance of building facilities and mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise daily facility management and maintenance activities.
• Oversee the operation and maintenance of HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, and other building systems.
• Plan and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams, contractors, and service providers to ensure timely completion of work.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance requirements and potential issues.
• Monitor the performance and condition of mechanical equipment and building systems.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with approved standards, procedures, and HSE requirements.
• Manage maintenance schedules, work orders, service reports, and technical documentation.
• Monitor contractors and ensure compliance with contractual and service-level requirements.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns, emergencies, and facility-related issues.
• Monitor maintenance costs, spare parts, manpower, and other operational requirements.
• Prepare regular facility management and maintenance reports for management.
• Ensure proper implementation of preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime.

Qualifications and Experience

• A ** in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in facility management and building maintenance.
• Proven experience in managing maintenance teams, contractors, and service providers.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of HVAC, mechanical systems, plumbing, and general building services.
• Strong understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
• Good knowledge of HSE requirements and facility management procedures.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
