Female Spa Therapist

About the Role

St. Regis is seeking a Female Spa Therapist to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves providing a range of spa services to guests, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout treatments. The role requires a professional who can assess guest needs, maintain high standards of service, and adhere to established protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver massage services using appropriate props and products.
• Perform body treatments, including scrubs, wraps, and hydrotherapy.
• Conduct guest assessments to identify needs and contraindications (*, allergies, high blood pressure, pregnancy) prior to service.
• Stay informed about current techniques and modalities relevant to spa therapy.
• Escort guests to and from treatment rooms.
• Prepare workstations, treatment rooms, and drapes.
• Ensure guest comfort, safety, and security throughout services.
• Promote and sell spa/salon services, including retail products.
• Clean, maintain, and sterilize tools and equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations and treatment rooms, dispose of waste, and secure supplies at shift end.
• Manage time effectively to adhere to daily schedules.
• Address inappropriate guest behavior according to Marriott International standard operating procedures, which may include stopping a treatment and informing management.
• Maintain current skills and licensure as per regional requirements.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Capability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 0-1 year of relevant experience in spa therapy. A commitment to continuous learning and adherence to professional standards is essential for this role.

Additional Duties

The Female Spa Therapist will also perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors, contributing to the overall smooth operation of the spa.
