About SAB and the Role

SAB is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to join its Finance Department in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to the company's financial operations, requiring a professional with 2-5 years of relevant experience to oversee critical reporting functions.

Purpose of the Position

The Financial Reporting Manager plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of SAB's financial statements. This position involves close collaboration with senior management and engagement with regulatory bodies, focusing on maintaining compliance and delivering precise financial information to all internal and external stakeholders.

Core Responsibilities

• Review and validate monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual financial statements provided to SAB stakeholders.
• Monitor and ensure that all information and reports from accounting services sections, including accounts payables, accounts receivables, and general ledger, are provided accurately as per guidelines.
• Collaborate with senior management on updating SAB's profit and loss account and balance sheet, ensuring accurate distribution of information to stakeholders.
• Lead the development of best-in-class public annual and quarterly reports for the market.
• Support SAMA and other applicable regulatory bodies with necessary financial reports, information, and analysis as and when required.
• Collaborate closely with HSBC (Global) for sharing best practices and providing inputs to the Chief Accounting Officer for the implementation of relevant practices to SAB.
• Conduct research on financial reporting best practices and advise senior management on how to improve current processes and procedures.
• Resolve any issues or queries raised by auditors during audits.
• Maintain and develop internal controls related to external reporting to ensure the efficiency of reporting policies and procedures.

Required Experience

Candidates for this Financial Reporting Manager role must possess 2 to 5 years of experience in financial reporting or a closely related field. This experience should demonstrate a strong understanding of financial statements, regulatory compliance, and internal control frameworks.

Collaboration and Environment

The Financial Reporting Manager will operate within a dynamic environment, engaging with various internal and external stakeholders. This includes working closely with SAB's senior management, collaborating with HSBC (Global) for best practices, and interacting with regulatory bodies such as SAMA.
