About the Role

Majid Al Futtaim is seeking a Fishmonger to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position requiring 1-2 years of experience. The Fishmonger is responsible for preparing and presenting fish products in accordance with established operating standards and hygiene control procedures.

Role Overview

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure that all fish products are prepared, packaged, and displayed efficiently and hygienically. The Fishmonger plays a key role in maintaining product quality and assisting customers with their inquiries, contributing to a positive shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

Accurately wrap, weigh, label, and price fish cuts.
Prepare, cut, and portion fish according to company standards and customer specifications.
Arrange and maintain appealing fish displays in line with presentation guidelines.
Assist customers with product inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
Promote additional products and stay informed about ongoing promotions and offers.
Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations during daily operations.
Properly operate, clean, and sanitize fish preparation tools and equipment.
Identify, segregate, and dispose of damaged, spoiled, or expired fish products daily.

Qualifications and Experience

1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
Demonstrated understanding of fish preparation techniques and hygiene standards.
Ability to follow operational procedures and guidelines.

Work Environment

This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within a dynamic retail environment. The role requires adherence to strict hygiene and food safety protocols.
