The Role

Holz Teak is seeking a Furniture Designer / Technical Office Engineer to join its team. This is a full-time, remote position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, requiring 2-5 years of experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating design concepts into detailed production plans for custom furniture and joinery.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce detailed, production-ready shop drawings for custom furniture and joinery projects.
• Generate accurate Cutting Lists and panel optimization data.
• Prepare material take-offs and Bill of Materials (BOM), including specifications for boards, solid wood, hardware, and fittings.
• Resolve joinery details, assembly methods, and hardware integration challenges.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in a technical office within a furniture manufacturing factory.
• Strong proficiency in 3D modeling software, specifically SolidWorks, SketchUp, or Rhino.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is also required.
• Solid understanding of woodworking materials, joinery construction techniques, and modern hardware systems.
• Demonstrated strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a remote work setup.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, remote position. The selected candidate will collaborate with the team while working from a remote location.
