About AVALON Pharma and the Role

AVALON Pharma is seeking a Head of PMO & Delivery to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position is central to the organization's strategic initiatives, focusing on establishing and maintaining robust project management practices and ensuring the successful execution of key projects across the company.

Role Purpose

The Head of PMO & Delivery will be responsible for leading the Project Management Office, driving project excellence, and overseeing the end-to-end delivery of AVALON Pharma's project portfolio. This role involves setting strategic direction for project management, standardizing processes, and fostering a culture of efficient project execution to achieve organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Define, implement, and continuously improve project management methodologies, standards, and tools across the organization.
• Oversee the entire project portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and effective resource allocation.
• Lead and manage the PMO team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management to ensure high-quality project delivery.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project completion.
• Establish and maintain clear communication channels with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, performance, and key metrics.
• Drive accountability for project outcomes, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required scope and quality standards.
• Facilitate strategic planning and prioritization of projects in collaboration with senior leadership.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree is required.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in managing a Project Management Office or a significant project delivery function.
• Proven ability to develop and implement effective project management frameworks and processes.
• Strong understanding of project lifecycle management, risk management, and quality assurance.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
