About the Role: HR Data Analyst

Saudi Gold Refinery Co. (SGR) is seeking an HR Data Analyst to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to managing workforce data integrity and generating strategic insights across the company's refining and corporate operations. The role involves ensuring accurate reporting for regulatory compliance, including Saudization, GOSI, and MHRSD requirements.

Role Purpose and Impact

The HR Data Analyst will play a key role in transforming raw personnel data into actionable intelligence, directly supporting data-driven decision-making. This position maintains HRIS accuracy and develops dashboards to track key metrics such as turnover, absenteeism, and labor costs. Reporting directly to the VP of HR, the analyst will contribute to optimizing workforce planning and ensuring regulatory compliance across all SGR facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain the accuracy of employee master data in the HRIS through weekly audits and correction of discrepancies in job titles, cost centers, and reporting lines.
  • Prepare and submit monthly Nitaqat and GOSI reports to ensure compliance with Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development requirements.
  • Design and update Power BI dashboards to visualize workforce trends, including turnover rates, time-to-fill, and overtime expenditures.
  • Analyze shift coverage and absenteeism data to identify operational risks and support workforce planning for plant and laboratory staff.
  • Administer user access and permissions within the HRIS to ensure data security and proper role-based visibility for HR staff.
  • Provide verified workforce data and documentation trails to support internal audits and external regulatory inspections.
  • Identify manual reporting tasks and develop SQL queries or Excel macros to automate data extraction and reduce processing time.
  • Collaborate with Finance and IT departments to reconcile headcount costs and resolve integration issues between HRIS and payroll systems.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in HR data analysis or a related field.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in HRIS management and data integrity practices.
  • Experience with regulatory compliance reporting, specifically Saudization, GOSI, and MHRSD.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in dashboard development using tools like Power BI.
  • Proficiency in SQL queries and Excel macros for data automation.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including Finance and IT.

Performance and Success Metrics

  • Achieve 100% accuracy in monthly GOSI and MHRSD submissions, resulting in zero regulatory penalties.
  • Reduce manual reporting time by 40% through the automation of key HR dashboards.
  • Establish a single source of truth for workforce data that aligns HR, Finance, and Operations records.
  • Deliver a predictive turnover model capable of identifying flight risks in critical technical roles.
  • Contribute to achieving the target Nitaqat tier through precise Saudization tracking and reporting.
  • Complete a full audit of employee master data with a cleanliness rate of 98% or higher.
  • Successfully integrate HRIS data with Finance systems for accurate monthly headcount reconciliation.

Work Environment and Reporting

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The HR Data Analyst will report directly to the Vice President of Human Resources, working within a professional corporate environment focused on operational excellence and strategic data utilization.
