About the Role

alfanar Group is seeking an HSE Officer for its Lamar Factory in Riyadh. This full-time role is critical for ensuring the consistent implementation and adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures across the project site. The HSE Officer will monitor compliance, conduct risk assessments, provide essential safety training, and develop emergency response plans to foster a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure HSE compliance through regular assessments, monitoring, and recommending corrective actions in work areas.
• Participate in HSE risk assessments, assist in defining protection and prevention measures, and support the implementation of control measures to mitigate significant risks.
• Support the review and maintenance of protection and prevention systems based on HSE requirements.
• Integrate HSE factors into business processes, projects, and departmental culture.
• Conduct employee awareness and training programs on HSE topics.
• Manage operational procedures and equipment related to HSE.
• Develop and maintain emergency preparedness plans.
• Perform site inspections and implement risk control measures.
• Handle communication related to HSE matters.
• Manage documentation and records pertinent to HSE.

• Demonstrate proficiency in HR-related aspects of safety.
• Ensure effective delivery of HSE initiatives.
• Engage in problem-solving related to safety challenges.
• Maintain high-quality standards in all HSE activities.
• Ensure adherence to business processes and compliance standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in a relevant HSE role.
• Proven ability to assist in ensuring HSE compliance through regular assessments and monitoring.
• Experience participating in HSE risk assessments and defining protection/prevention measures.
• Capability to support the implementation of control measures to mitigate risks.
• Familiarity with reviewing and maintaining protection and prevention systems based on HSE requirements.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based at the Lamar Factory in Riyadh. The role involves working on-site to directly oversee and manage HSE operations.
