About the Role

Akkodis is seeking an experienced HSE Supervisor to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves overseeing and implementing Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures across various sectors, including pharmaceutical companies, pharmacies, healthcare facilities, and medical manufacturing operations.

Role Overview

The HSE Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, minimizing workplace risks, and fostering a strong safety culture. This will be carried out in accordance with Saudi regulations and international HSE standards, contributing to a safe and compliant operational environment.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise the implementation of Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures.
Conduct risk assessments, workplace inspections, and safety audits.
Ensure compliance with Saudi occupational health and safety regulations and applicable industry standards.
Identify workplace hazards, investigate incidents, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Monitor chemical handling, hazardous materials, storage, and waste management procedures.
Develop and implement emergency response plans and evacuation procedures.
Conduct HSE training, safety awareness sessions, and toolbox talks.
Monitor compliance with applicable ISO standards, including ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
Prepare HSE reports, maintain safety records, and follow up on corrective actions.
Coordinate with management and operational teams to continuously improve workplace safety.

Qualifications and Experience

A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in a relevant HSE role.
Demonstrated experience in overseeing HSE policies and procedures within pharmaceutical, healthcare, or medical manufacturing environments.
Strong understanding of Saudi occupational health and safety regulations and international HSE standards.
Familiarity with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires active engagement across various operational sites to ensure consistent application of HSE protocols.
