Sama Construction & Contracting is seeking an Interface Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is designed for professionals with 0-1 years of experience who are ready to contribute to large-scale infrastructure and mass earthworks projects.

The Role of an Interface Engineer

The Interface Engineer will be responsible for coordinating and managing all internal and external technical and operational interfaces across complex infrastructure and mass earthworks projects. This role involves resolving design and operational conflicts, ensuring seamless coordination between various project elements, and maintaining smooth alignment across all project boundaries. The ideal candidate will be highly proactive in identifying and addressing potential interface challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, track, and manage all technical, design, and physical interfaces between site earthworks, civil utilities, adjacent packages, and external authorities.
• Develop and maintain the Project Interface Management Register, ensuring timely resolution of Interface Requests (IFRs) and conflicts.
• Coordinate with utility providers, municipal authorities, traffic departments, and adjacent contractors to secure necessary access and execution approvals.
• Organize and lead interface coordination meetings with consultants, sub-contractors, and internal execution teams to align schedules and physical boundaries.
• Assess technical risks arising from interface overlaps and implement mitigation measures to prevent project delays.
