Cenomi Retail, established in 1990 as Fawaz Alhokair Fashion Retail Co., is a prominent retail and F&B operator in Saudi Arabia. The company has introduced over 80 international brands, including Zara, Mango, Aldo, Cinnabon, and Subway, and currently operates more than 1,600 stores across 100 shopping centers in 11 countries. Cenomi Retail is dedicated to growth and fostering unique brand partnerships. We are seeking a Full-time Internal Auditor to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The Role of Internal Auditor

The Internal Auditor will play a key role in executing internal audit engagements in accordance with approved plans and methodologies. This position involves evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, identifying opportunities for operational improvement, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. The ideal candidate will be a motivated and detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of risk and controls, capable of contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the execution of internal audit engagements, adhering to the approved audit plan and methodology.
• Participate in audit planning activities, including process understanding, risk assessments, and walkthroughs.
• Perform audit testing and accurately document audit procedures, observations, and conclusions.
• Prepare audit working papers in compliance with Internal Audit standards and methodology.
• Identify control deficiencies, process gaps, and opportunities for operational improvement.
• Support the preparation of audit reports and presentation materials.
• Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and assess compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Support the tracking and validation of management action plans.
• Stay updated on Internal Audit standards, industry developments, and emerging risks, demonstrating a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
• Work collaboratively with audit team members, communicate effectively with process owners and stakeholders, and maintain the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.

Candidate Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in internal audit, external audit, risk advisory, or related assurance services.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fundamental understanding of risk and controls.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Experience with a Big 4 accounting/advisory firm is preferred.
• Saudi nationals are preferred.
