About the Role

Nahdi Medical Co. is seeking a dedicated Internal Medicine Registrar to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves providing comprehensive medical care, including diagnosing and treating injuries or illnesses, examining patients, taking medical histories, and prescribing medications. The Registrar is also responsible for ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests, as well as counseling patients on diet, hygiene, and preventive healthcare tailored to their individual needs.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Assess patients thoroughly and document all findings accurately.
• Design and execute individualized patient care plans.
• Educate patients comprehensively on their health conditions, necessary investigations, available treatment options, and proper medication use.
• Provide guidance to patients on health promotion and disease prevention strategies.
• Order and meticulously review the results of patients’ investigations.
• Prescribe appropriate medications for patients.
• Fulfill all obligations related to maintaining accurate and complete Patient Records.

Operational and Compliance Duties

• Adhere strictly to all Nahdi Care Clinics (NCC) Policies and Procedures (P&P), Bylaws, Strategic Plan, and Rules & Regulations.
• Comply with the mission, vision, goals, and practice guidelines established by NCC.
• Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with other departments within NCC, local agencies, vendors, patients, and their families.
• Complete all required fire safety training and protocols.
• Comply with clinical and departmental structure standards, including attendance policies.
• Adhere to the standards of care set forth by the Central Board for Accreditation of Healthcare Institutions (CBAHI).
• Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities as assigned by the department head.

Professional Development and Quality Improvement

• Actively participate in all assigned NCC Committees and Task Forces.
• Engage in continuous quality improvement (CQI) and program evaluation activities to ensure compliance with Clinical, Ministry of Health (MOH), and CBAHI quality standards and regulations.
• Contribute to the continuous professional development of all junior staff members.
• Maintain an evidence-based approach in all clinical practices.
• Integrate population factors such as heritage, environment, and disease prevalence into patient care plans.
• Develop, participate in, and support an active Continuing Medical Education (CME) program for the assigned Section, Department, or Clinical area, which may include rounds, conferences, lectures, and journal clubs.

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience: A minimum of two years of clinical experience following a Master’s degree, or eligibility to sit the board examination in the specialty.
• Licenses: Must possess a Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) License and be licensed as a Registrar in a related specialty by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.

Work Environment

This role is based entirely indoors (100%). The work schedule involves six working days per week with one day off. Daily working hours are eight net hours, structured according to a shift schedule approved by the head of the department.
