The Role of IT Enterprise Architecture Lead

The IT Enterprise Architecture Lead is responsible for guiding the development, maintenance, and implementation of SIMAH’s enterprise architecture framework. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and involves analyzing business and technology requirements, evaluating technology solutions, and ensuring alignment with architectural standards, digital transformation objectives, and IT strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and maintenance of enterprise architecture frameworks, standards, principles, and technology roadmaps across applications, infrastructure, data, security, and integration domains.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and contribute to the design of architecture solutions that support operational and strategic objectives.
• Lead in reviewing proposed technology solutions and projects to ensure alignment with approved architecture standards and enterprise requirements.
• Lead the assessment of emerging technologies, industry trends, and innovation opportunities, providing recommendations for potential adoption.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of architecture artifacts, including architecture diagrams, standards, reference models, and documentation.
• Participate in architecture reviews and impact assessments for new technologies, systems, and enhancement initiatives.
• Lead the integration planning of new technology solutions with existing applications, platforms, and infrastructure.
• Monitor compliance with enterprise architecture principles and identify deviations, risks, or improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure architecture solutions support business needs.
• Lead the evaluation of current technology environments and identify opportunities to improve scalability, interoperability, efficiency, and maintainability.
• Lead digital transformation and innovation initiatives by contributing architectural insights and technology recommendations.
• Prepare architecture reports, assessments, and presentations to support decision-making and technology planning activities.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in enterprise architecture or a related field.
