About the Role

Enova by Veolia is seeking a Jr. Operations Engineer to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves overseeing daily operations, managing client service reports, and handling client quotations and contracts.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor day-to-day operations and control service reports provided to clients.
• Prepare and follow up on quotations submitted to clients.
• Manage and track client and supplier contracts.
• Perform quality checks to ensure systems operate correctly and safely.
• Diagnose and resolve system faults.
• Execute planned maintenance activities.
• Analyze reports, maps, drawings, and test data to plan and maintain installations.
• Direct and/or participate in site visits for service delivery or data collection.
• Operate computer-assisted engineering and design software for engineering tasks.
• Coordinate small installations, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.
• Inspect completed installations and observe operations to ensure conformance to design, equipment specifications, and operational/safety standards.
• Provide technical assistance to field personnel on low/medium voltage distribution equipment and motors/generators.
• Respond to and provide technical assistance for electrical equipment issues within client facilities.
• Issue repair reports for critical jobs to maintain historical documentation.
• Identify engineered solutions for recurring electrical issues.
• Improve plant/equipment reliability through trend analysis and enhanced maintenance procedures.
• Lead and participate in Failure Analysis and Vulnerability studies.
• Execute equipment maintenance strategies, including predictive and preventive maintenance.
• Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge through workshops, publications, and professional networks.
• Prepare timely and accurate departmental statements and reports according to requirements and standards.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant quality, health, safety, and environmental procedures.
• Liaise with the HSEQ department for the creation of standard operating procedures.
• Issue and send incident reports to the HSEEQ department in a timely manner.
• Support HSEQ staff in investigating incidents.
• Finalize and update HIRA with support from HSEQ staff.
• Implement risk control measures arising from HIRA.
• Conduct toolbox and SOP training when supervisors are deemed incompetent on a topic.
• Prepare the yearly schedule for toolbox and SOP training with HSEQ staff support.
• Ensure relevant emergency tests are conducted.
• Perform other related duties or assignments as directed.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (4+ years degree).
• 2-4 years of experience in technical maintenance, with exposure to Facilities Management, particularly in Electrical & Mechanical Engineering.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh.
