About the Junior Front-End Developer Role

Pulsemedia, a digital marketing agency focused on healthcare, medical, and wellness brands, is seeking a Junior Front-End Developer to join its fully remote team. This position is ideal for an early-career developer looking to build modern, responsive web experiences within a supportive environment. The role involves contributing to innovative, data-driven marketing solutions for clients worldwide, with a focus on creating impactful digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain responsive, user-friendly websites and landing pages for healthcare and wellness clients.
• Translate UI/UX designs into clean, maintainable, and reusable front-end code.
• Develop digital assets to support marketing campaigns and client websites.
• Collaborate with designers, marketers, and project managers to deliver high-quality digital experiences.
• Assist with front-end improvements to support SEO, website performance, and conversion optimization.
• Optimize websites for speed, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility across various devices.
• Maintain and update WordPress websites and other CMS platforms, including content changes and new page implementation.
• Identify and resolve front-end bugs and UI inconsistencies, ensuring reliability and quality through testing.
• Stay current with modern front-end technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and collaborate with experienced developers for skill development.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 0–2 years of front-end development experience (including internships, freelance work, personal projects, or bootcamp experience).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Development, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience building responsive, mobile-first websites.
• Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
• Experience using design tools such as Figma or Adobe XD.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote team.
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and grow.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Preferred Skills and Knowledge

• Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue, or similar.
• Experience working with WordPress or other CMS platforms.
• Basic understanding of SEO-friendly development practices.
• Basic knowledge of website performance optimization and browser compatibility testing.
• Experience with Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, or similar CSS frameworks.
• Basic understanding of WCAG accessibility standards.
• Exposure to healthcare, medical, or other regulated industries.
• Familiarity with JavaScript build tools and modern development workflows.
• Fluent English communication skills; Arabic is a strong advantage.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position within a fully remote team. The role is based in the MENA region, offering a collaborative and supportive environment for professional development.
