About the Role

Airbus Helicopters Arabia for Aircraft Maintenance is seeking a Key Logistics Manager to join their team in Riyadh. This contract position requires 5-10 years of experience and involves managing various logistics activities to ensure operational performance and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage physical logistics activities, including performance and improvement control, KPI implementation, and adherence to Airbus Logistics solutions and policies.
  • Drive issue resolution through established alert and escalation processes.
  • Propose and implement local, short-term improvement initiatives and contribute to End-to-End Logistics Solutions optimization.
  • Ensure the quality and quantity of standard distribution means and contribute to infrastructure evolution.
  • Assess logistics impacts resulting from short and mid-term planning changes.
  • Manage Logistics Provider (LP) contract compliance, ensuring proper application by both the provider and Airbus, budget adherence, and savings.
  • Create, challenge, and validate operational scope change requests, work specifications, ad-hoc service requests, and claims.
  • Perform technical negotiations on unit prices, volumes, and forecasts.
  • Ensure harmonized and agile contract governance to deliver services on time, quality, and cost.
  • Develop and deploy ways of working and training to support operations in contract management.
  • Calculate and monitor the logistics budget in coordination with Finance.
  • Support procurement and operations in contract mechanism implementation and monitoring.
  • Implement and monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with internal stakeholders.
  • Anticipate, understand, and challenge internal stakeholders’ requests, ensuring the implementation of changes.
  • Manage risk with internal stakeholders and Logistics Providers, perform root cause analysis, and develop mitigation plans.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety obligations, including Airworthiness Authorities, Quality, Environment, Health & Safety, and Dangerous Goods.
  • Contribute to corporate audits and industrial maturity, planning and executing audits in collaboration with quality teams to address findings.

Experience and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in logistics management.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage physical logistics activities and implement performance controls.
  • Experience in managing logistics provider contracts and ensuring compliance.
  • Proficiency in budget calculation and monitoring, and technical negotiation.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory and safety obligations related to logistics.
