Lead Low Current (LC) Engineer SA

About the Role

CTS Group is seeking a Lead Low Current (LC) Engineer SA to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves leading the LC engineering team, overseeing the design and review of low-current and ELV systems, and ensuring seamless integration across various disciplines. The Lead LC Engineer will serve as the primary technical authority for the LC scope from initial design through to commissioning.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for the technical leadership of low-current systems, ensuring all LC works meet specified quality standards and program requirements. This position is critical for integrating the low-current backbone that supports mission-critical operations, making facilities intelligent, secure, and connected.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and engineering of ELV / low-current systems, including security, CCTV, access control, fire alarm, BMS, ICT/structured cabling, AV, and PA.
• Establish LC design standards, specifications, and the technical basis of design.
• Coordinate the LC scope with electrical, mechanical, civil, and architectural teams.
• Review vendor submittals, shop drawings, and system integration architecture.
• Ensure interoperability and integration of all LC subsystems.
• Support constructability, value engineering, and design optimization efforts.
• Guide and mentor LC engineers and designers.
• Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), commissioning, and integrated systems testing (IST) for LC systems.

Qualifications and Experience

• A degree in Electronics, Electrical, ICT, or a related discipline is required.
• Proven experience (5-10 years) leading low-current / ELV design and integration on large-scale projects.
• Demonstrated technical depth combined with strong coordination skills.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves leading a team and collaborating with various engineering disciplines to deliver complex low-current system solutions.
