Lead Operational Risk Management

About Qiddiya and the Role

Qiddiya is seeking a Lead Operational Risk Management to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves designing, implementing, and overseeing robust risk management frameworks and strategies for Qiddiya's projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in integrating risk management into project planning and decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and establish a robust risk management framework tailored to the needs of Qiddiya's projects.
• Implement risk management strategies and tools to effectively identify, evaluate, and prioritize risks.
• Develop and maintain risk registers for projects, ensuring ongoing monitoring and review of risk mitigation strategies.
• Provide training and guidance to project teams on risk management processes and tools.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate risk management into project planning and decision-making processes.
• Prepare and present risk management reports and findings to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
• Facilitate risk workshops and discussions to promote awareness and understanding of risks throughout the organization.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in risk management, with at least 5 years in a management role within a large-scale project environment.
• Strong knowledge of risk assessment techniques and quantitative risk analysis tools.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing risk management frameworks and governance structures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Relevant certifications (*, Certified Risk Manager, Project Management Professional) are considered a bonus.
