The Legal Trainee Role

Riyan Almogbel & Partners Co. is seeking a Legal Trainee to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time, on-site position designed for recent graduates seeking to commence their professional legal careers and gain practical experience within a law firm setting. The Legal Trainee will work under the supervision of lawyers and legal specialists, gaining practical exposure across the firm's key practice areas, including bankruptcy, corporate, litigation, and commercial law.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct legal research on Saudi laws, regulations, judicial precedents, and relevant legal matters.
  • Assist lawyers and legal specialists in preparing legal memoranda, opinions, reports, and case summaries.
  • Assist in drafting and reviewing contracts, legal documents, correspondence, pleadings, and notices.
  • Support the legal team in preparing case files, supporting documents, and submissions.
  • Assist in following up on lawsuits, enforcement proceedings, and other matters before courts, judicial authorities, and relevant government entities.
  • Review, organize, and summarize documents and information received from clients.
  • Assist with legal due diligence and document review in corporate and commercial matters.
  • Monitor and research updates to Saudi laws, regulations, and regulatory requirements.
  • Attend client meetings, court hearings, and internal meetings when required, and assist in preparing meeting notes and follow-up actions.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date legal files, records, and supporting documentation.
  • Collaborate with team members across different practice areas and support lawyers and partners with legal assignments as required.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Fresh graduate with 0-1 years of experience.
  • Strong academic background in law.
  • Demonstrated interest in legal practice areas such as bankruptcy, corporate, litigation, and commercial law.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working within a professional legal team that values analytical rigor, ethical practice, and continuous development.
