About the Role

King Salman International Airport is seeking a Manager Commercial Contract to lead the end-to-end management of commercial contracts across its projects and business functions. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and involves overseeing various contract types, including special contracts, leases, consultancy agreements, and project-related agreements.

Role Overview

The Manager Commercial Contract will be responsible for contract negotiations, administration, governance, claims, changes, and commercial risk management. The role provides strategic guidance to stakeholders and ensures all contractual activities align with KSIA requirements and organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide legal drafting and advisory support during the negotiation of land leases, office rentals, warehouse agreements, and other property-related contracts.
  • Review property management contracts to ensure alignment with operational requirements and asset protection strategies.
  • Ensure tenant documentation complies with applicable Saudi real estate laws and zoning regulations.
  • Identify legal risks related to property maintenance and utility liabilities and develop appropriate indemnity provisions.
  • Advise the property management team on lease enforcement, delinquency notices, and termination of non-compliant tenants.
  • Maintain standardized real estate contract templates in line with current market practices and legislative requirements.
  • Draft and review revenue-sharing agreements for retail, food & beverage, and duty-free operators within airport terminals.
  • Ensure concessionaire contracts incorporate appropriate service-level standards and performance requirements.
  • Review concessionaire bid submissions to ensure proposed commercial terms are accurately reflected in final agreements.
  • Monitor contractual compliance relating to operating permits, insurance coverage, and other contractual obligations.
  • Identify potential contractual conflicts between retail operators and develop appropriate exclusivity or non-compete provisions.
  • Provide legal support for the transition and handover of concession spaces upon contract expiry or termination.
  • Develop and update concession contract annexes covering digital payments, data sharing, and passenger privacy requirements.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in commercial contract management. The role requires a strong understanding of contract law, negotiation strategies, and risk mitigation within a commercial context.
