Ma'aden, established in 1997, is a leading multi-commodity mining and metals company in the Middle East, playing a pivotal role in developing Saudi Arabia’s mining industry. We are seeking a Manager, Leadership Academy to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position is crucial for cultivating leadership capabilities across the organization.

Role Overview

The Manager, Leadership Academy leads the design, governance, and delivery of Ma'aden's Leadership Academy. This role is instrumental in developing current and future leaders, ensuring alignment with Ma'aden's strategic objectives, core values, and capability priorities. The Manager oversees leadership programs, learning pathways, and strategic partnerships to cultivate a robust leadership pipeline, supporting succession planning, organizational transformation, and overall business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Ma'aden's Leadership Academy strategy, ensuring alignment with business and workforce priorities.
• Build leadership capability to support organizational growth, transformation initiatives, and succession needs.
• Ensure strong integration between leadership development, performance management, talent reviews, and succession planning processes.
• Establish governance frameworks, standards, and operating procedures for all leadership development programs.
• Ensure compliance with Ma'aden's HR policies, financial controls, and learning governance guidelines.
• Continuously improve leadership development practices by leveraging feedback, data analytics, and global best practices.
• Design and oversee leadership programs, academies, and structured learning journeys.
• Manage end-to-end program delivery in collaboration with Academy operations and delivery teams.
• Lead the development of leadership competency models, assessment tools, and targeted learning interventions.
• Oversee executive and high-potential leadership development initiatives.
• Manage external partners, program budgets, and assess overall program effectiveness.
• Lead and develop Leadership Academy team members and contributors.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders regarding leadership capability and development needs.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning, constructive feedback, and leadership excellence within the organization.
• Track and report on leadership program participation, outcomes, and overall effectiveness.
• Monitor the impact of development initiatives on succession readiness, employee engagement, and overall leadership capability.
• Provide strategic insights and recommendations to L&D, HR, and executive leadership.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 10 years of experience in leadership development, talent management, or a closely related field, demonstrating a proven track record in designing and implementing impactful leadership programs.
