About the Role

The Luxury Collection is seeking a Massage Therapist to join their team in Ad Diriyah, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves providing a range of massage and body treatments to guests, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the service. The role requires maintaining up-to-date knowledge of techniques and adherence to professional standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide massage services and body treatments using appropriate products and techniques.
• Assess guest needs and inquire about contraindications (*, allergies, high blood pressure, pregnancy) before commencing services.
• Stay current with industry techniques and modalities relevant to the field.
• Escort guests to and from treatment rooms and arrange workstations, treatment rooms, and drapes.
• Ensure guest comfort, safety, and security throughout the service.
• Promote and sell spa/salon services, including retail offerings.
• Clean, maintain, and sterilize tools, and ensure the cleanliness of the workstation and treatment room.
• Manage time effectively to adhere to the daily schedule.
• Address inappropriate guest behavior according to Marriott International standard operating procedures, including stopping treatments and informing management.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipate service needs, and express genuine appreciation.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 0-1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Current skills and licensure in the service area as per regional requirements.
• Ability to speak with others using clear and professional language.
• Capability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.

Work Environment

This role operates within a spa/salon environment, requiring adherence to strict cleanliness, safety, and operational standards. The position involves direct interaction with guests and collaboration with colleagues to ensure a high standard of service delivery.
