Role Overview

Mohammad Al-Habib Real Estate Investment Company is seeking a Senior Mechanical Site Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves direct execution and delivery of mechanical works on a landmark high-rise towers development. The role requires a skilled and experienced mechanical engineer to take full responsibility as the Main Contractor's/Developer's site engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the Main Contractor's/Developer's site engineer, responsible for direct execution, resourcing, and delivery of mechanical works.
• Supervise and execute the installation of HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting, and chilled water systems according to approved drawings.
• Coordinate mechanical works with civil, electrical, and architectural site activities.
• Verify shop drawing implementation and BIM coordination compliance on site.
• Conduct and record formal site work inspections at each stage of mechanical installation (pipe routing, pressure testing, insulation, equipment installation) prior to sign-off and progression.
• Manage direct labor crews and/or subcontractors performing mechanical works, and verify progress and quality.
• Prepare and verify quantity take-offs and measurement of executed mechanical works for interim payment certificates and variation/change order evaluation.
• Coordinate directly with the Technical Team and design consultants on RFIs and site queries affecting mechanical works.
• Supervise and mentor Junior Mechanical Engineers assigned to respective work fronts.
• Monitor testing, balancing, and commissioning of mechanical systems.
• Ensure compliance with mechanical codes, Civil Defense fire-fighting requirements, and the project's technical standards.
• Maintain inspection and test records for mechanical installations.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering roles, specifically in site execution.
• Demonstrated experience in supervising and executing HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting, and chilled water systems.
• Proficiency in verifying shop drawing implementation and BIM coordination.
• Experience in managing labor crews and/or subcontractors.
• Ability to prepare quantity take-offs and evaluate payment certificates and change orders.
• Strong understanding of mechanical codes, Civil Defense requirements, and project technical standards.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, focusing on a high-rise towers development project. The role involves working directly on-site and coordinating with various teams and consultants.
