Qiddiya | القدية is seeking a Medical Director - Sports Medicine & Performance Center (Clinical Exp) to join its team in Riyadh, Riyadh Province. This full-time position offers an opportunity to lead a critical service line within a dynamic sports center environment, focusing on strategic development and operational excellence.

Role Summary and Focus

The Medical Director will be responsible for leading a defined service line within the Sports Center, which may include areas such as rehabilitation, sports medicine, performance, fitness, or wellness. This leadership role encompasses the full scope of the service line, including its strategy, day-to-day operations, financial performance, service quality, customer outcomes, and the development of team capabilities.

Core Responsibilities

• Define and execute the strategy for the assigned service line, ensuring alignment with the Sports Center and QHC objectives.
• Identify opportunities for service expansion, new program development, and innovation.
• Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient, safe, and high-quality service delivery.
• Oversee service workflows, patient/client pathways, scheduling, capacity, resource allocation, and throughput.
• Manage the service line budget, cost control, revenue targets, and overall financial performance.
• Ensure the service line operates in line with clinical, technical, safety, and quality standards, monitoring outcomes and customer satisfaction.
• Lead corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives based on performance data and feedback.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, trainers, operations, marketing, finance, HR, and quality teams.
• Build relationships with external partners such as clubs, federations, schools, universities, and healthcare entities.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams, setting performance expectations, monitoring productivity, and addressing performance gaps.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training, professional development, and succession planning for the team.

Key Performance Indicators

• Achievement of service line revenue, profitability, and budget targets.
• Improvement in utilization, productivity, throughput, and capacity performance.
• Maintenance of high-quality clinical or service outcomes.
• Improvement in customer satisfaction and reduction in complaints or escalations.
• Ensuring compliance with service standards, safety requirements, and audit expectations.
• Successful development and launch of new programs or service enhancements.
• Building a high-performing and engaged service line team.

Required Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this role must possess over 10 years of relevant experience, demonstrating a strong background in clinical sports medicine and performance center management. The position requires proven leadership capabilities in developing and managing service lines within a healthcare or sports performance context, coupled with a deep understanding of operational and financial management in this sector.
