About the Role

alfanar is seeking a .Net Technical Consultant to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position is central to designing, developing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and high-performance software solutions. The consultant will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable applications that meet both business and technical requirements, leveraging 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Core Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using C#, .NET Core/.NET, React/Flutter, and TypeScript.
Implement modern software architectures, including Microservices, Clean Architecture, and CQRS, while building secure RESTful APIs and backend services.
Design, optimize, and maintain SQL Server databases, covering schema design, complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
Build reusable, maintainable application components and participate in application modernization and cloud migration initiatives.
Analyze business and technical requirements to design and implement software solutions aligned with functional specifications.
Develop application components, system integrations, and new features, contributing to architectural design decisions.
Apply Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SSDLC) practices throughout the development process.
Write, test, debug, refactor, and optimize code to ensure application quality, reliability, and performance.
Perform functional testing, troubleshoot application issues, and support production incident resolution.
Automate application delivery using Azure DevOps CI/CD, containerize applications with Docker, and support deployments to Kubernetes and Azure App Services.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including application designs, technical specifications, and implementation details.
Adhere to coding standards, development guidelines, and documentation best practices, while continuously improving technical skills and adopting modern technologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions within project timelines.
Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge-sharing activities to promote engineering excellence and continuous improvement.

Technical Expertise

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical proficiency across various platforms and methodologies, including:

Full-stack development: C#, .NET Core/.NET, React/Flutter, TypeScript.
Modern architectures: Microservices, Clean Architecture, CQRS.
Database management: SQL Server (schema design, complex queries, stored procedures, performance tuning).
DevOps and deployment: Azure DevOps CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure App Services.
Software development practices: SDLC and SSDLC.

Continuously updating soft and technical skills relevant to the role.
Executing planned activities to meet operational and development targets according to schedules.
Utilizing resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time parameters.
Providing periodic reports detailing task execution and any deviations.
Resolving operational problems and escalating complex issues as necessary.
Ensuring quality requirements are met and developing effective quality control processes.
Coordinating well-defined systems, policies, and procedures, and identifying automation opportunities.
Complying with all relevant company policies, procedures, and work instructions.
Ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and environmental management procedures within the work area.

Work Setting

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires collaboration within cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
